UNEXPECTED CW MEMBERSHIP CHARGES. - May 8, 2009

I have recently been alerted by a number of people that they are seeing a charge entitled CW Membership on their credit card statements. People have been Googling to find out what it is and thinking it's related to the Consumers Win program. It is not.

If you have been charged $9.95 for a "CW Membership" on your credit card it's coming from a company that offers a membership called Comprehensive Weight Loss. Here is their telephone number 1-800-989-5907. You can call that number and cancel your membership.

Apparently, this is one of those scams that when you buy a product they automatically give you a free trial to something else that if you don't cancel automatically begins billing you monthly. I'm sorry you're going through that but at least I found out what it is now.
