Lisa Martin holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland in Dietetics and personal training, youth and senior fitness certifications through AFAA. In addition, she is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through NSCA, the only certification to require a health related degree or equal experience. As the owner of Wellness Evolution, she brings over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry working with clients as young as 9 and as old as 80, women recovering from breast cancer, individuals and small groups.

Her passion for fitness began at a very young age when she went directly from crawling to running. From there, her lifetime of sports started in elementary school and still continues today. As a collegiate athlete, she learned the value of hard work and commitment.,
